This one took us a day to decant. It was puckeringly strong! Not bad (not even close)...just kind of like being hit with a brick wall you like. After it aired for a day, we absolutely LOVED it paired with roasted chicken and mushrooms. It was still a strong red (smoky and smooth), but with a wonderful balance with the meat. I recommend it if you have time to let it breath IN A DECANTER over night. :) (Tip...we covered the decanter with a paper towel to let it breath slowly.) — 6 years ago

It was ok. Not a wine that I would pick up normally. It was crisp with STRONG pear, which I wasn’t a fan of. Great with simple salty charcuterie. — 6 years ago
