Flavors of boysenberry pie, black cherry, black licorice, eucalyptus, vanilla, cocoa, creme de menthe. This is a lush but well balanced Cabernet, and I am a big fan. It could definitely be better in a few years but is also delicious now.

Flavors of BlackBerry, raspberry coulis, leather, tomato leaf, smoky meat. Good Oregon pinot though it’s a bit ripe/fleshy as compared to most.

A whiff of nail polish blew off after a couple minutes in the glass, after which there were super classic Syrah flavors of blackberry, black pepper, smoky meat, and blueberry. Tasty stuff if you are into old-world Syrah like me. If not you might not be a fan!

Flavors of Vanilla, coconut, banana creme, baked pear, pineapple. I have been known to be a fan of rich, full bodied Chardonnays on occasion. This is not one of those times. Frankly, this wine kind of sucks. It is rich, so it has that going for it, but it’s very out of balance and really just not yummy.

Notes of Orange peel, wet stone, honeysuckle, gooseberry, and lime zest.
This is a good wine with a slightly bitter finish. Very weird blend of Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc, and Macabeo (aka Viura). — 4 years ago

Flavors of chocolate, mint, charred wood, blackberry jam, clove, cinnamon, and leather. Delicious wine that could stand a few more years of aging to soften the considerable tannin and texture. But definitely drinkable now, it evolves in the glass a great deal! I would definitely buy again.

Absolutely one of the best wines I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, amazingly well integrated oak, blackberry and black currant flavors with nice Napa dustiness. If I could ever afford to buy my own bottle I would!
Note: I decanted AND SWIRLED for at least an hour before this began to open it. This has plenty of life left in it, or at least the bottle I tried did!

Notes of lemon curd, flint, honeydew, vanilla, cheese rind, and toast.
Really tasty St. Aubin, pretty classic white burg flavors with perfect balance and just a hint of oak and lees aging. Another Costco buy, would definitely get it again.
