People whining about earthiness and tannins aren't familiar with Rioja or Spain in general, where heavy oaking is the norm.
I found this fruitier than most Riojas, dominated by raspberry notes and vanilla, backed by mild tobacco, mineral, and chocolate notes. — 2 months ago
This 2023 is better than the 2022 vintage. Deeper salmon hue. Aromas of fresh strawberries, candied cherries, Ruby Red grapefruit, dried apricot, and underripe peaches with notes of white chocolate and garden flowers. — 2 months ago
Cherry vanilla cola with hints of earth and cloves. Way too jammy for what I like. Still good but 2021 was much better. 2022 needs aging to develop character. — 20 days ago
Great QPR wine, one of the better Priorats I've had, especially after too many mediocre ones the last few years. Dark chocolate and raspberry on first pour. As it breathes, the llicorella becomes more pronounced and the cocoa aromas get stronger. — a month ago
Black cherry, cocoa, dried figs and dates, pipe tobacco, vanilla, and spices. — 2 months ago
Aromas of ripe blueberries. Fun Colorado Western Slope wine trying a grape you don't normally see in the U.S. — 3 months ago
Definitely a wine that needs to be served closer to room temperature than the fridge and let breathe just a bit. Complex bouquet comes alive as it warms with key lime pie, caramel apples, white flowers, and Chantilly cream underlaid by chalky marl aromas. Awesome, but then again, you expect that in this price range from a premier cru. — a month ago
When cold, aromas reminded me of Meyer lemon cheesecake and brine but as wine warmed a bit, aromas turned to bright lemon, lavender, and gardenia. Baking spices and minerals buried deep. Beautiful wine with a finish to match. As worthy as any fine Chard the world offers. — a month ago
For wine app: this is a 2021 Deerfield Ranch Blonde Ambition ElieO Vineyard.
Lemon tart with kisses of starfruit and Chantilly cream. Beautiful buttery, olive briny finish that lingers without being offensive. Killer QPR Chard. — 2 months ago

What makes a perfect wine is rather subjective, but this is the best wine I've ever had. If this isn't a 10 nothing is. So good I shed a couple tears.
Mature Rioja from one of its finest vintages in 100 years. Aromas of dried berries, dried chilies, dried basil, bay leaf, dill, toasted coconut, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves all overlaying undertones of cedar, tanned leather, and sandalwood. Amazing. — 14 days ago
