Opulent, rich Napa cab. Not subtle, but who cares. This is super yummy. Drink up. No need to wait on this. — 5 years ago
Classic Corison. Needs 6+ hours of air to show anything so do not bring this to a restaurant. After five or so hours, it has moderate fruit, with a strong beam of acidity that gives it a long finish. Probably needs 5+ more years to show more complexity but really nice now. Could actually mistake this for great Rioja if blind. — 4 years ago
Fantastic. Rich fruit, nice touch of oak and long finish. Tastes great now and I think this will be best in next couple years so you can enjoy the fruit. Crushes most Napa cabs at the price point. — 5 years ago
Just ok. Was expecting more from classified growth from a great vintage. Decent left bank character but short finish and minimal fruit left. Certainly enjoyable but not worth the freight and effort to store for all of these years. — 4 years ago
Obviously too young but wanted to try to see where this may go. Classic Santa Cruz Mountains acidity. Needs 6hr decant for nose to give anything at all but then it’s quite nice/classic. . Beautiful snappy fruit and medium body. Raspy tannins at back end but good with food. If you have to drink now, try 12 hr decant. Will check in again in 2027. — 5 years ago

Tight upon opening like nearly all Spring Mountain cabs. A couple hours in decanter reveals surprisingly smooth wine. A strong beam up dusty berry fruit, medium to full body and a long finish. Will check on another in 5 years as this seems to have something in reserve. Good stuff with prime rib dinner. — 4 years ago
