Not your typical Chianti Classico but still beautiful and pleasant. Cherries, red fruit, spice, maybe some potpourri. It's light in color, medium concentration. — 9 years ago
Wowza! So much smoke and meat on this wine. Something a little bit synthetic on the nose. I don't hate it but I think this wine will only appeal to a special kind of wino. — 9 years ago
Lovely medium bodied wine. Notes of cedar, dried herbs, raspberry liqueur, blue fruit, raisin. Supple tannins. Long lingering finish. — 8 years ago
Something synthetic like rubber and sour like vomit. Not liking this at all. — 9 years ago

Petrol, mellow honey, apricot, citrus, complex and everything you'd want and expect. This is a beautiful spatlese. — 8 years ago
Stone fruit, green strawberry, minerality-wet granite, maybe some white flowers (we only had a split and it disappeared fast!) More tart on the palette. Delish. — 9 years ago

The nose was pretty off-putting with a heavy sulfur thing but it dissipated after an hour or so and became a rather pleasing Carmenere...for the price. — 8 years ago
