Hoi Polloi 2014 Illicit Pinot Noir, made from grapes from a secret spectacular vineyard. The nose on this baby!!!! And the sour cherries. More austere than typical california juice, which gives it spine and nobility. Would love to taste it after a few years, if i can make me wait that long — 8 years ago

After an hour of air sweet tobacco and leather on dark fruit greet your nose, similar pattern on palate with bright acidity and firm sweet tannins at the end. Great structure. — 7 years ago

Sour cherry raspberries hints of leather and tobacco on the nose. More translucent than original blood red ink, golden rim. Distinct sour cherry sweetness on the palate, velvety tannins and minerally finish. — 7 years ago

Weinbach schlossberg reisling 2015. The nose is somewhat closed, but with spice and citrus. The mouth is full and crisp. Drank it too early. Saw it on wine list at Mistral last night and could not help it. Beautiful with salad, shave parmesan and house smoke salmom — 8 years ago
