Fruity, smooth. Loved it. — 2 years ago
Another reminder why Patagonia wines are worth seeking out.A higher toned Malbec & sleeker- as if all the notes are moved up a notch. A player in a dinner w friends: Pasta E Fagioli w Radicchio, Spinach torte w raisins & nutmeg, Braised beef w white wine, & almond/ ricotta torte. — 4 years ago
This isn’t a Malbec. But if you’ve ever tasted a blockbuster Fabre-Montmayou Malbec, another great review and 95 points from Decanter, lobbed onto such a modestly priced wine shouldn’t be a big surprise.
And for everyone who hasn’t yet tasted an Hervé Fabre wine, let this dark purple, sun-warmed sweet raspberries and black cherries-infused Cabernet Franc be your introduction to one of the greatest winegrowers in Argentina.
Praised by the judges at the 2020 Decanter World Wine Awards for its “ripe nose with fresh red fruits and lively notes of green vegetables and capsicum,” this is the Fabre wine that walked off with a Gold Medal, and was recently featured by Eric Asimov of the New York Times as one of “20 Wines under $20 That Revive and Restore.” — Moore Brothers Wine Co.

A typical more regional Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Youthful with some degree of complexity, fruit-forward of plenty of dark cherry and mulberry, a bit smoky, woody and erathy, with some persistent tannins. Rich and textured mouthfeel, mid-long finish with some astringency, well-balanced and taste better with food rather than by itself. It needs to be splashed decanted for 30-45 minutes to appreciate its potential. — 5 months ago
We’ll balanced, floral and fruity palette, slightly lingering after taste — 4 years ago
Really enjoy this pet nat. Slight funk, lovely bubble, nice sweetness. And has been consistent over the three different times I've bought it. — 6 months ago
Delicious. Rockmelon, grapefruit, dill. — 3 years ago
High elevation-Single Vineyard Languedoc beauty. Lovely red cherry and spice aromas with hints of smoke and minerals. Dark cherry and black fruit flavors are complemented with Asian spices and Forrest Floor. Silky tannins and long finish. Exceptional balance. Revisited in December 2021. Still fantastic. Revisited again in December 2022. Aging gracefully! Beautiful wine. Thank You for this one, Kasey. — 4 years ago
