Slovakian red that makes me swoon- accent on natural made but not screaming funky. Just a medium to light bodied, peppery, cranberry & tart infused gem, light on polished tannins. Wonderful lift & a back end. Refreshing. A blend of: Frankovka Modrá, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alibernet. Also a QPR in my parts, at about 15$. — 3 years ago

Actually the #10 but delectable can’t find it. Unusual pop top Slovakian red blend. Doesn’t veer into overly funky or annoying “natural wine” territory - nice nose, juicy fruits, earthy, medium minus tannins, refreshing finish. — 2 years ago

If you are ever unconvinced that Slovakia doesn’t make good wine you need to try is wine from Stekov. Fred 8 Is light bodied wine but finds that balance between complex and easy drinking. I saw another reviewer said Brett on the nose and totally agree it’s a little bit barley wine co- fermented but still super ripe. Would be so good with cold charcuterie or grilled chicken.  — 4 years ago
