Unique ruby colored wine made from the Aglianico del Vulture grape grown in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy. I found the wine had a pleasant nose but was a little tart when first opened. After being opened for several days the wine leveled out and was very smooth. Paired well with a variety of foods, including beef and chicken. Drank in December 2024. — 4 months ago
