Anbefalt av Green Bonanza. — 5 years ago
Stone fruits & white flowers on the nose, a bit of pear, nice waxiness, lemon curd.
Lemon peel, full in the mouth, refreshing.
After some airing, a mineral bonanza.
Goes well with a treat from further south
Spaghetti ala vongole w chili.
Yum.

Haven’t had this vintage in 5 years., and the extra 5 years of aging makes a difference.
I also had the 1994 exactly a year ago, and it’s even better than that.
Great value considering how aged it is. Smooth. Berry bonanza.
I play a game with my wife where she picks a bottle from my cabinet while I grill a steak (in this case, a 1.25kg dry aged porterhouse) and I blind taste the wine and tell her what it is. We made a bet that if I got the correct bottle (out of over 50) that she had to go and spend $150 on a bottle. If I got it wrong, I couldn’t shop at the LCBO for two weeks (that’s like a year for anyone else).
I guessed old world. Spanish. Approx 10 years old... but thought it was a 2010 Cune Gran Reserva.

Intense and still young chianti which started blossoming after 2hrs in the decanter. Spiced red fruit bonanza with black tea and forst floor. Very long and intense. Served with Italian Peposo beef stew, a sublime combination . — a year ago
Really good. Better than the Bonanza Cab. — a year ago
E: I may even like this more than my favorite (Bonanza). — 4 years ago
Mmmm... another boozy bonanza but the alcohol was so well integrated. A giant bouquet as expected and luxurious flavors of brown sugar and dried black cherries. Acid-heads rejoice! — 5 years ago

Beautiful aroma and fantastic taste. Great Cherry and chocolate overtones with a smooth lingering finish. No vintage date on bottle that and just Lot 7 but that Lot number could be on every bottle. Either way Chuck Wagner has done a beautiful job on this. — a month ago
