The wine of the trip for me. This is the best Roberta's I've ever had and was amazed at how accessible this was showing. This wine shows just how good domestic merlot can be and would love to put this against so too end Right Bank Bordeaux in 10 yrs to compare. Works class stuff here. — 8 years ago
7 yrs has softened this nicely. Wacky blend of cab s & f, Merlot, Syrah, petit Verdot, and Malbec oddly works great. — 10 years ago
Works really well as a cooking and drinking wine. Solid quality for the price. Green pear and mineral stand out. — 6 years ago
2005 Domaine Ostertag Fronholz Alsace AOC Vendange Tardive de Gewurtztrainer. Lush, unctuous, stewed lychees, roses, cloves, autumn spices and stroopwaffels. I had this with a Duck Sriracha of deep fried tender duck with garlic and tamarind sauce, chopped fresh green chili from 22 Thai Cuisine on Maiden Lane near Wall Street. A hot and spicy Thai dish meets an aromatic, sweet Alsatian Gewurtz. This is quite an aggressive wine-and-food pairing but it works great for me. — 11 years ago
A real great wine to start the night! Goes especially well with curry on Brick Lane 👩🔬 — 6 years ago
Reddish ruby with brick rims. Dark. Very floral in the nose. Dried brush, blackberry, wood, and smoke. In the mouth everything works together. Great with smoked ribs. — 9 years ago
I've been waiting on this for a few years now. This...this wine is my sh*t. When this hits your lips, you know it's something special. Reminds me of the 2001 Whitehall Lane Reserve Cab. The masters of Jumilla Monastrell, the Gil Family has created something so freakin good that it becomes harder & harder for us retailers to get our hands on it each year. Such small allocations are distributed amongst us in CT that when they drop it off, it exits the building. This is the demand we have created & it is so worth it. Just my opinion of course. Monastrell & Cab blend with loads of dark plum, dark berries smothered in black pepper, brick and ash flavors. Almost like pit smoked bbq in your mouth without the wet wipes for clean up. — 9 years ago

Exactly what's advertised - a very drinkable lemonade and Brickworks cider blend. — 5 years ago
