Best value for money?!!? — 7 years ago
Not a “Bordeaux guy” but that may be because I don’t/can’t get my hands on the real stuff. This was pretty revelatory. More floral and delicate and sensuous than I could’ve imagined for a broad category our server called “cigar-box.” — 8 years ago
Nice dark garnet color, aromas of raspberries, cola and dust. Great flavors- lots of red fruit. — 9 years ago
Incredible evolution in 2 hrs- closed, narrow and crisp to fully open, broad shouldered and incredibly complex- give me this juice again and give me 2 days!! — 6 months ago
PnP. Drinking young. Very dark, thick red color. Medicinal tones, cedar, and dark cherries on the nose with some oak. Same on the palate. Seems higher than the 14.4 OH. Next to zero finish which is disappointing. Average Napa Cab right now and seems way overpriced at $60+. — 3 years ago
Loved this wine in Maine 2019. Bought at grape d'vine. — 7 years ago
Knife-throwing act where the knives are carved from peppercorns and the target board is quilted cherry. Westworld's Clementine casually offers herself as a target, laughing and alternating between espresso and whiskey shots. — 7 years ago
Strawberries and cream, raspberries, pineapple, wet stones, grapefruit on the nose.
Fruity, low acidity, creamy, light bodied, velvety, juicy, floral, watermelon. Beautiful wine to enjoy on the last days of summer. — 9 years ago
Tropical and waxy! — 5 years ago
Love this red blend! I let it air for 2 hours before drinking. — 8 years ago
Lovely and broad “. Bright ripe acidity, gorgeous. — 8 years ago
1997 vintage. At Salon. Pale golden hue. Recently disgorged for a new release. Stunning nose - lemon curd, toasty, vanilla pod, stone fruit, chalky minerality - layers of complexity. On the palate, stunning - laser sharpness, high but soft acidity, great concentration and broad on the mid palate. The length is exceptional. This wine is in a great place right now. Drink it! Although will last for a very long time still. — 9 years ago
