Florida Ave Brewing Co. Super Märzen Brothers Oktoberfest Lager
Semi translucent mashroom floor of broken-brick amber with a tinge of peach, emits a bubbly toupée crown fit for a Koopa. 8-bit lacing. Sesame toast nose gets the axe from a cinnamon note that p-wings and creeps (and this is wrong) like Diddy Kong. Ta-tang-y grapefruit follows. The palate shows tangerine and tabak, a close brush with barrel, a nutty pecan and macadamia, finally bittering to Bowser breath. PuN intendo!

Mataro in perfect balance. This bottle literally arrived with a broken neck from shipping and I had no choice but to finish it off immediately and salvage a sneak peak. Pure pleasure while holding the perfect amount of complexity you want from the delta terroir, which is not a large window, and proves to those who can make it the real mastery that lay in the glass. This is not at all what anyone expects from Mourvèdre. It is like blending the best of Beaujolais and both northern and southern Rhône all at once without weight or heaviness at all, just the pure glide of complex fruit and romance. The winemaker feels this deeply and it is very obvious he knows exactly what he is doing. This is the very best that could be done with this👌🏼 — 7 years ago

An arrow to the knee, I for one am a fan of her new body — 6 years ago
Medium ruby red with garnet edges. Layered nose with notes of smoke, very dark, touch of cocoa, baking spices and some tight dark berries. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus bodied. Well rounded even at a young age. Notes of bark, dark berries, broken twigs, a touch savory with medium plus acidity. Dry and long finish. Drink from 2018 till 2026. (91+) — 9 years ago
