A Chardonnay with 14.5%abv ands doesnβt feel like it, this wine has a great balance of alcohol, acidity and fruit. Yellow plum, lemon, green apple, pear, acacia, wet stone, flint, vanilla, clove and a tantalizing sense of dried herbs and honey that gives it good dimension and a clean edge. Crisp on the palate with more acidity than you would expect for this alcohol level. Long finish with oak and apple fruit on the close. Substantial but it still has finesse. β 4 months ago
