Refreshing. A bit of weight. Good acidity. — 8 years ago
Developed red with ochre pigment. Cherrystone, rosehippy and briary, some sous bois and earthy aromas. Linear, precise, not too much showy or expressive, reserved, with a good inner balance. A bit too narrow and shallow to be at a good burgundy level but good enough. — 9 years ago
Classic Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh, greasy and mineral. Ample and lingering. — 6 years ago
This wine has a very pleasant taste, both before and during diner. Nice smoothly aftertaste without bitterness. Comparable with bigger Italians and Spanish bros, 14% alcohol! Certainly recomendable! — 8 years ago
— 9 years ago
Beautifully developed Sancerre 0,375. On the first nose kinda dry fruits together with nuts could mislead you to think this wine is dead but give it a chance and some air. It will show you richness and mature beauty. — 6 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed with dinner over the course of an hour. The 2018 “Les Romains” pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with “leesy” notes bright lemon-lime citrus with some melon and a mix of stony and ferrous minerals. One the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and satisfying; definitely the favorite at the table tonight. Lovely with a traditional seafood boil. Drink now through 2035. — 5 days ago
