Château Les Clauzots

Château Les Clauzots

Graves Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2016

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Fruity nose with black fruits and chocolate notes.

Full-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, black currants, coffee, oak, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, dark chocolates and peppercorn.

Short finish with medium tannins and tangy raspberries.

Elegant and rich. Complex and interesting. Fruit forward and spicy, with enough earth notes to compliment it.

Drinks very much like a Left Bank should, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly.

Wine Enthusiasts 88 points.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.
