Nice notes of toffee, rum raisin and cinnamon sugar pastry (kind of a sticky bun). A tasty glass to wrap up an evening. — 9 years ago
Sensational Shiraz. — 10 years ago
Another memorable Port drunk at my 70th Birthday last weekend following the 1982 Reynella. This was not as full bodied as the Reynella tawny in colour. A top quality Tawny Port from the famous house of Quinta do Noval. Notes of toffee and walnut - quite sweet on the medium bodied + palate. Very savoury. Slightly preferred the Reynella for its full bodied flavour. The Quinta was more elegant. — 2 years ago

We drank this at the end of my 70th with Montecristo No. 4s. I have always believed that Chateau Reynella make the best Vintage Port in Australia having consumed them over many decades going back to the early 1970’s. It threw a huge crust on decanting. Rich dried plum and liquorice notes. A consistency of engine oil - heavy in the mouth with an intensity off the charts. Just brilliant at 40 years old. — 2 years ago
Exceptionally good Shiraz. The soft tannins and full mouthfeel back up the strong plum and dark chocolate aroma. It keeps on giving after it has been swallowed with a lingering oak wood finish that kept me coming back for more. Would definitely buy again. — 5 years ago
Attention Delectable.
This is the 1971 vintage of arguably Australia's best performed Vintage Port.
This was drunk yesterday with a group.
Stunning fortified. Sooty and tarry with lashings of liquorice on nose and palate.
Great fullness of fruit on palate even at this age.
Privileged to have a 43 year old wine at its peak. 19. — 10 years ago

Intense Aussie mouth filling Cab Sauvignon deep ruby colour and fabulous fruit package with tannins and acidity and lingering flavours this is a top McLaren Vale wine which has ageing potential. Very moorish in it’s youth 😃 — a month ago
