Paso Robles Chardonnay 2022

Cobble Creek Vineyards – Chardonnay / 2022
Paso Robles, California 🇺🇸

Overview
Crafted by Castoro Cellars, this 100% Chardonnay reflects Paso Robles’ commitment to sustainability, holding both SIP (Sustainability in Practice) and CCOF (Certified Organic) certifications. A crisp and steely expression, this wine proves Paso is more than just bold reds.

Aromas & Flavors
Notes of green apple, citrus zest, and pear with a subtle mineral edge. Hints of white blossoms and a touch of saline round out the aromatics.

Mouthfeel
Lively, refreshing acidity with a lean, clean texture and a dry, snappy finish.

Food Pairings
Grilled fish tacos, sushi rolls, goat cheese salad, or roasted chicken with lemon and herbs.

Verdict
A bright, mineral-driven Paso Chardonnay that champions freshness over oak richness, steely, modern, and incredibly drinkable.

Savuto (Classico) Gaglioppo Blend 2014

i have had a love affair with this wine for going on 10 years now thanks to a recommendation from a wine store on court street in cobble hill. its a $15 wine i keep coming back to. the unusual grape blend is immediately apparent when you taste this one (45% gaglioppo, 15% greco nero, 15% nerollo capucchio, 15% magliocco canino and 10% sangiovese) so its just a completely unique flavor profile for me. lots of black olive on the nose and black olive, tar, and prunes on the palate. goes great with garlic-y italian food. — 7 years ago
