Tart apples, sliced and placed thoughtfully on a plate. A bowl of Mandarin oranges with their leaves still on. A cup of earl grey tea in a hotel lobby.
Cobble stone roads, bright with golden hour light — 5 years ago
i have had a love affair with this wine for going on 10 years now thanks to a recommendation from a wine store on court street in cobble hill. its a $15 wine i keep coming back to. the unusual grape blend is immediately apparent when you taste this one (45% gaglioppo, 15% greco nero, 15% nerollo capucchio, 15% magliocco canino and 10% sangiovese) so its just a completely unique flavor profile for me. lots of black olive on the nose and black olive, tar, and prunes on the palate. goes great with garlic-y italian food. — 7 years ago
