God knows what's in here but it's well rounded and deep. All of Dirk's wines are universally adored and I do t think this is any exception to that rule. Power and fruit. — 6 years ago

Simple... if you find it... buy it... do not hesitate. We just had this piece of art, after I smoked some beef ribs. This wine was perfect to finish this epic meal. — 6 years ago
My father in law picked up this gem in Lisbon in 1997 when I snagged a 1994 Fonseca Vintage port. He was looking to spend a more modest amount on a Port to bring home. WOW, what a find. Tawny in structure and color. Well balanced and just a great all around port. — a year ago
Field blend of Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Viosinho, Donzelinho and Gouveio from 80 years old vines on schist soils. Vineyard on the right bank of the Douro River, in the prime Cima Corgo zone, at an altitude of 400-600 metres. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 6 months in oak. Clean, precise nose with citrus (tangerine), floral notes and and subtle oak. Fresh, linear, medium bodied, dry. Good minerality and acidity. Very tasty — 3 years ago
Leathery with big tannins, which I like—but this one could do with a bit more fruit. — 6 years ago
