One of the best whites I've had. I love Friulia. — 10 years ago
Started with great flavors of cassis and blueberry, which eventually became a wonderful fruit envelope around some very dark but smooth tannins. Very bright and mature wine. — 4 years ago

Delicious, fresh as spring. I could bathe in this. Blossoms and green almonds, a fleeting botrytis note that brings to mind this wine's now verboten moniker tocai. Now in compliance with the most stringent laws since the Roman Empire , the dropped place-name only adds to the odd vertigo--it's not on the bottle, but you can still taste it. — 7 years ago

Decanted for 90min prior to service. The 2013 pours, a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity, with light staining of the tears. Small signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart, mostly dark with some red forest fruit: blackberries, black currants, rotting strawberries, a fresh package of red rope licorice, purple flowers, old pennies, and dry, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin(+?) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I think this is my first time enjoying a wine made with Tazzelenghe and, if I can help it, will not be my last. Drink now. — 2 months ago
