One of the best English sparkling ice ever tasted. With every penny. Light fruity, bubbly, delicious — 4 years ago
Waitrose. Delightful English white. Melon and peach, grassy and zesty freshness to it, slight acidity to cut through things but without lingering. — 6 years ago
Totally delicious, smooth, balanced, and complex. Fruity vanilla oak notes. — 8 years ago
Always yummy. Raisins, pepper and black cherry. — 8 years ago
Have yet to have an EK bottle disappoint. This is in a fantastic window right now. So good. From the winery; ‘In the glass, the 2013 Small Town Pinot is a very pretty medium garnet color. Explosive aromas of crushed red cherry, forest floor and spice abound, followed by an outright party of ripe cranberry, strawberry, black plum and rhubarb pie on the palate. All rounded out by hints of juniper berry, nutmeg and cloves. A hair riper than last year, but no less graceful, there’s a pleasant sense of all-around finesse.’ All ringing true tonight. Loved this. — 9 years ago

Delicious light effervescent. — 8 years ago
Love the aromas. Cinnamon, licorice, blueberry. Medium body, tannins roll on the tongue. Licorice is a prominent note. Wish I had this with my wagyu yesterday ... — 8 years ago
I think this is my favorite wine from steven kent. Would love to try this against some good vintage lineages. It's got a great nose, mouth watering acid and flavors, and enough tannins to get your attention. Not dark dark fruit. More mixed with prominent red fruit. Really in a nice spot. These wines are really meant to have this kind of age on them. — 9 years ago

nose: lovely fragrance of spiced baking apples, pastry shell, orange citrus, slight nuttiness
palette: high acid, very well-structured, long finish
overall: very impressive — 3 years ago
The nose displays a nice mix of peach, lime, strawberry, sourdough, and light chalk. Delicate fine mousses. High acidity but with a round edge. Shows a lot more Chard characters once the mousses are settled. Clean crisp finish.
This one was recommended over other more expensive vintage English bottling. Very happy with the choice.
