Spicy and nutty. So many savory flavors. Umami bomb. Amazing complexity for such $ — 5 years ago
My go to wine in Punta Delgado. Every night I went to the same harborside wine and dine trailer and bought this wine. Love it! — 5 years ago

From 375ml bottle - a fascinating drink is Manzanilla Fino Sherry made from the Palomino grape. This was a pale Lemon in colour - notes of mouldy Apple and a saline sea spray character. On the palate that salinity carries through inviting you to take another sip. Tastes more alcoholic than it actually is at 15% ABV. From the town of Sanlucar de Barrameda where it is apparently a great match to serve chilled with cooked Langoustines. I read in an article by James Halliday (so it was open information but somewhat Tongue in Cheek) that he had Manzanilla banned from the house on the grounds of addiction ! Manzanilla is best consumed fresh (within a year of bottling and within a day or two of the bottle being opened). — 4 years ago
Medium lemon colour with touches of copper . Quite light nose at first , slightly nutty along with , sea breeze, ripe green apple and touch of crystallised citrus peel. On the palate quite persistent and complex , more of the nutty , iodine , seaweed , character, along with that green fruit, with a walnut note on the finish. Good acidity and balance, relatively light bodied and delicate . Overall a good impression, refreshing and moreish . On the second day this appears more intense and saline, showing better than yesterday. — 2 years ago

Aurelio opened this inaugural vintage in honor of the passing of wine owner Luis Delgado.
Complex and complete. Youthful colrr that shows some age in the edge, but center is still purple. Nose is intensely cassis, animal/meaty (not dirty), minty, salted plum. This has a lot of life left, if anyone has bottles left. 😅 — 5 years ago

Old bottle that has been sitting on retail shelf for 3+ years. Tangy & salty. But a little flat. Not bad for $9 tho — 6 days ago
