Rhône Village blend of Grenache (60%), Syrah (20%), Cinsault (15%) and Mourvèdre (5%). Bright garnet color. Aromas of ripe berries, black pepper and roasted meat. Same ripe berries on the pallet with notes of orange zest, black tea and black pepper. A good deal of minerality on the long (but a bit hot) finish. Full bodied and bold. Creamy texture but a bit sharp. — 3 years ago
