Well balanced and pleasant. Reasonably structured. — 6 years ago
Full bodied, deep red, cherry that melded into plum w/ a finish if mocha on the nose. Opened up nicely w/ an few hours of aeration. Red Cassis & cranberry on the fore-palate, follow by cocoa and a hint of pipe tobacco for a long finish. The flavors were steady and rather simple but very pleasant . (Grilled ribeye steaks smothered with oyster mushrooms & onions, roasted cauliflower florets, spinach - ice burg salad, and cheddar biscuit- on the lanai) — 7 years ago

Recommended by M Bernard @ Les Florets to pair with our excellent meals of roast cod with chorizo and carré of veal. Worked very well with both dish’s. Les Florets has an exceptional wine list and M Bernard is a talented sommelier. — 6 years ago
