My buddy Ian brand coming correct. Sf chronicle wine maker of the year a few years back. Making a good name for our place Monterey. Listen to the bedrock podcast with Ian! It’s a good listen and the wine is super thoughtful. I can say im super thankful he and heather are keeping this going! Thank you heather brand for pouring and being the great host! Needed 2 hours to open up. Raspberry, cranberry fruit. Tart. Kind of deep pitched for a Burgundy. Not much in the way of tannins. Others on Cellartracker called this delicate. This bottle wasn’t at least compared to the 2013 Jean Tardy Gevrey Chambertin Champerrier I posted on just prior to this one. — 3 years ago
