#solera system 35 year old cask started with late harvest #macabeo and then continually add #grenachegris and #grenacheblanc #garnacha to get an amber colored intensely aroma sweet wine. Hazelnuts waffles and beeswax and honey. Everything delicious and amber colored is in here. — 9 years ago

Not believing the age? Or maybe a Grenache problem? — 11 years ago

80% carignan / 20% Grenache from the Pyrenees—it’s VdP because at the time there wasn’t an established AOC in the region. I guess it would be Cotes du Roussillon today. In any case it’s stellar, supple and mellow and open with plush, spicy red fruit, earth and leather. — 3 days ago
