Gainey Limited Selection Chardonnay 2013. This wine uses fruit from Rancho Esperanza and Evan’s Ranch Vineyard, the Santa Ynez winery’s Sta. Rita Hills property. It is nearly fully barrel fermented - only 2% in steel - and aged in French oak for nine months, 25% of which is new oak. Alcohol hits 14.1% abv, and full malolactic and sur lie fermentation offer this wine a full and creamy feel in the mouth. It’s a big, fat chardonnay with lots of oak. coconut and tropical flavors. — 10 years ago
Amontillado seco, Escuadrilla/Lustau. 100% Palomino fino, tiefe goldene Farbe, Nuss Nougat, Haselnüsse, süße Schokolade, Pflaumen, Karamell, Kandis, RZ 5g, Körper, harmonisch, Länge, trocken — 11 years ago
In 1972, Alejandro Fernández & wife Esperanza Rivera of Pesquera de Duero initiated the renaissance of Ribera del Duero appellation with area's first modern wire-trained vineyard, their Viña Alta in Pesquera. Their entry level wine is a great value. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits and clean spice. Palate shows flavors of red berry fruits, vanilla, spice, and licorice notes, vivid acidity. Firm tannins, medium finish ending with spice and fruit character. — 2 years ago

@Delectable Wine : This is the Onesta Petite Syrah. I didn’t see it in the database.
Really unique wine from a small producer. For the makeup, it was shockingly smooth. Very dark and inky with blackberry, cassis, underripe blueberries and black pepper. Stiff tannin but it softens towards the finish. Potpourri and lavender too. Very cool. — 7 years ago
Very good Malbec. Deep purple good structure and grape concentration. Plumb and berries. Good with my hamburger at Hungry's Houston. — 10 years ago
Found this one on the list at Esperanza Resort in Cabo for $70. Can this really be a $12 - $14 retail bottle? If so I am all in when I want an everyday Napa cab with really good fruit and some depth, along with nice structure. Having 2013 Napa fruit helps for sure! — 10 years ago

I’ve not managed to try a vintage aged version of this wine because it is so delicious that I can’t wait that long. I might have to hide a few bottles away. This is a must try for all Red wine lovers. The palate is fruity with a moderate amount of tannins. I need to try an aged vintage as I think this wine will blow away most red wines in its category. Go get it now!! — 9 years ago

Bonarda on a wacky railroad. A lot of different tastes come up while drinking this. Ate it with self made Napoli style pizza while breaking the rules using a litte Asian herbs in the squized tomato. Will buy again. — 3 months ago
