Great nose. Peachy and full flowers. Sipping brings acidity and makes it great. — 3 years ago

One of the hottest vintages on record in Europe was handled quite well, if not exceedingly well, in Germany. This Saar Auslese 375ml acts more like a Gold Cap, if not a BA without botrytis. Coconut milk, mango, and papaya. Offering silky, supple texture with adequate acidity to keep it fresh and harmonious these past 20 years, with many more ahead. — a year ago

Apple, wet stones, florals, and lots of acid! Could drink this all day!! — 2 years ago
Medium crimson. Soft aromas of roses, cherries, and beeswax. The palate shows cherry and cranberry with lively acidity tempered by medium tannins. Not oxidative at all, which, judging by the few posts for the 2014 vintage, indicates a major change in style. As for this lovely 2015, the fruit sings while it's being accompanied by mineral, acid and tannin. A real gem at a very reasonable price. — 8 years ago

100% Pinot Noir! Pungent nose of underbrush and raspberries on seashells. Yeast and honestly a little pleasant stank. Juicy. Lush texture. Love it. — a year ago
