40/40/10/10 blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Burnt orange in color, tangerine and tutti-frutti flavors, bitter finish with plum, fig and cherry aftertaste. Needs an hour to open. A floral note emerges eventually alongside the tangerine. Next day the wine screams of cherry flavor and minerality with a peach aftertaste. Worth decanting this before chill and serve. A deceptively nice dry rosé. — a year ago

It’s actually Alain Castex 2007 Grenache but couldn’t add it properly. In my mind Castex is a truly powerful force! This was one of those perspective shifting wines. So much life and maturity, incredible tension, great duel between acid, tannin and over all mouthfeel. Mind blown! 🤯 — 7 years ago
