Dark plum and cherry fruit with sweet tobacco spice and a good hand of fresh earth. A very good year that is now drinking near its peak still has good fruit with silky smooth tannins and drinking very nicely right now most excellent — 11 years ago

Found a few bottles at temporary/limited section at Swedish Systembolaget. The wine is from Red Mtn AVA with Bordeaux-blend grapes from 6 plots. After 2 h decanting: dark red and low viscosity; on the nose, oak, chlorine-like minerals, and green pyrazines jump out first; charcuteries, herbs, and ripe plums and dark cherries peek out second; on the palate there is a good structure and balance between acids, alcohol and tannins, and the finish - which is medium in length - reveals ripe dark fruits, cinnamon, herbs, mint, and a touch of chocolate. Well made and should be interesting to taste after some time in the cellar. — 8 years ago
