Lots of tart red fruit, oak, cedar, tar, and pencil lead. Medium plus body, high tannins, high acid, high alcohol, and medium plus finish. Some tertiary notes, so drink now. Esporão never disappoints. Oak really comes through with Bold wild berries, a hint of anise and vanilla. Alcohol is maybe a little too prominent which makes me think in a couple of years of cellaring this its true character will truly shine. — 4 months ago
