Excellent texture, seemed a bit more oxidized than I would have thought given the age - not flawed in any way, just unexpected. — 4 months ago

Nice Mellow wine with full flavor. Let it open. Not sure of year. — 7 months ago
This cuvée of the best of Bedrock’s best Zinfandel lots offers a big nose of blackberry and underbrush, followed with tart dark berries, graphite, mild acidity and classic Zin spice. Out of the gate it’s a bit edgy but with time in the glass shifts to an incredibly smooth, slightly oaked wine with many classic cab attributes. Wonderful either way. — 3 months ago
Not what I ordered (the server messed up), but it was perfect with the cassoulet. I’d happily order it again. — 6 months ago
Wow, this Zin is super aromatic, with fantastically pure crushed red and black fruits, some mineral, flavor profile shows lovely floral as well as the rich, deep red and black raspberry, while this wine needs further aging, it has impeccable balance and a very long, lingering finish, 13.5% ABV, 201 cases made, bravo to Joel!! — a month ago

Yeah, I bought 2 Joel Gott wines today. I guess I'm reliving some of the wines I liked when I first got into wine.
This is just fine! Inexpensive and chuggable, if I'm not careful. Citrus, green apple, pineapple, melon.. you're supposed to say "grass and gooseberry" when you drink SB, but I've never tasted a gooseberry. Not very grassy, either. Doing this with Thai spring rolls, and it's great.

I drank a lot of Joel Gott when I first got into wine. I don't buy it much anymore, but grabbed this at the supermarket. It's very good for the price, and no complaints.
