We all think this is a nice cab. We also think it is still to young. Tasted better when aireated However I’m going to let it age another couple of years. Needs a big fat steak to offset the tannins. — 7 years ago

Wow. Best domestic CF I have had to date. Wow. This wine has done quite a bit of growing in the last five years. One of my last 2, and what a beauty! The more spry lily and daisy flower notes have changed to more of a dried lavender and rose petal. The nose is black cherry spice, hint of plum, hint of cola. Entry has a split second of sweet, dense black cherry right on the front with ample acidity that goes to a darker black fruit note to the middle. Cola, pie spice, fig newton, a touch of iodine. Finishes dense and powerful. Dang. Ridiculously happy with this wine. This is the best 9 bottles of wine I've ever begged someone to sell me, and was in the right place at the right time when JRE came to the Ft Worth Club all those years ago! — 6 years ago
One of my favorite wine makers, especially love his Zins. Having this with the boyfriend with our Christmas lasagna. — 10 years ago
A good steak wine! — 6 years ago
Liked this but the Cabernet from Diamond Mountain is so much better. — 7 years ago
What do you do after finals? Easy. You go to a wine bar with friends and try new wines. This Rhone did not disappoint. — 9 years ago
Absolutely delicious cab. Full-bodied, earthy, dark fruit make for a wonderful bottle. — 10 years ago
Jeffrey Woo
Ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of baking spice, blackcurrant, cherry compote, plum, tea leaves, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; smooth, silky, medium-plus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. Rich, intense, fruit-forward nose; velvety mouthfeel; lengthy, lovely finish. A smooth operator that takes time to blossom. — 4 years ago
