Kitchak made some incredible wines - sorry that he sold the winery. This is a complex, dark fruit Merlot. Tannins have really softened, but still there to give it structure. If you like great Merlot, this is one of them. Another wine that shows the 2011 Napa wines have aged much better than critics initially rated them. — 5 years ago

Great Cab Franc. Unfortunately this is my last bottle - and Kitchak Cellars is no longer in existence. Meeting Peter Kitchak and enjoying his wines in Napa was one of the defining moments for my wine journey. Sad to see this one go, but such a great bottle. — 5 years ago

A delicious full-bodied rose. Very dark in color but still drinks more like a rose than a light red. Bright acidity and dark red fruit notes. Excellent, especially with a little bit of age. — 6 years ago
