Alto Adige - Südtirol Müller-Thurgau 2021

A cross between Riesling and Madeleine Royal. Lemon color with aromas of ripe stone and tropical fruits and herb spice. On the palate flavors of peaches, apple, lemon and melon with wet stone mineral. Vivid acidity with great mouthfeel on medium+ finish ending with fruit and herbs. Good now. — 4 months ago

Südtirol Alto Adige Lagrein 2021

The nose shows a bit of herbaceous notes, along with raspberries, blackberries and green bell pepper notes. I could have easily mistaken it for a cab franc. There is a tiny savoury note too, lurking in the back. The palate is medium bodied, with a delicious blackberries-raspberries stew note all along, a velvety mouthfeel that is slightly disrupted by gently drying tannins in the rear. The finish is long, fruity, with a nice savoury note, an rides on a tannic layer until the very end. The palate and finish remind me very much of my beloved Fronton 100% négrette wines from Domaine Le Roc. Good stuff 👍🏻 — 5 months ago

Kofl Alto Adige - Südtirol Sauvignon Blanc 2019

I would take this over most bottles of Sancerre any day! I continue to be impressed with the wines from this region and need to make a trip out there.

Re-visiting this- damn it's good. I'm starting to think there is a small blend of semillon or viogner? The nose is so powerful with lemon pith...
