Herbaceous near smoke-point olive oil and bamboo shoots with a thin lemon juice on wet, river rock silhouette. The palate is full, siphoning into a barely perceptible tingle, adding buoyancy. Clean and delicious with shrimp in a homemade tomato cream sauce. A wiggle of the hips, a simple linen sashay, in a sunny field of white wildflower and clover. This Cortese really does it all. Curious to see it dance on the half shell. #cortese #piedmonte #italianwine — 10 years ago

Very nice. First time having this grape, which apparently comes from a small part of Piedmont on the Lombardy border. Almost like a dry intense Riesling - petrol and acid - but a bit more floral. Would want more. — 9 years ago
Excellent Dolcetto indicative of Piemonte. Spicy, black pepper, slight bitterness balanced with subtle red fruit. Paired surprisingly well with brown rice carrot dish. — 7 years ago
