Had it April 2013.
Turning golden colour, shiny anyway. Tropical fruits and fantastic minerality. Not herbaceous at all like most Italian SB. It tastes of Loire valley somehow. Long and enjoyable. Little sugar left well balanced by the minerally part.

@ Romano Roma Caro ho assaggiato e lavorato con tutti I vini Di Matteo Ceracchi, Li adoro un po tutti, Ma credo che il Follia bianco ed il grechetto siano il top. Purtroppo non ho niente di scritto e non mi va Di improvvisare. Grazie comunque. ✌️.

Wow! With a very hot nose, I wasn’t expecting this wine to be so complex and delightful! Delicious silk with a lingering haystack feel. There is a floral essence there. Jasmine and other delicate flowers. But what i notice the most is the luxurious mouthfeel! It’s like drinking Marilyn Monroe’s bath water! Slippery, luscious, with legs so wild they coat your tongue in tangerine honey! I love this wine sooooo much — 8 years ago

A producer that i know for a long time
Absolutely not a classic character
Matteo is a true vigneron and loves what he does like few others.
The Follia Bianco was always my favourite label and did not disappointed
Rich and mineral
It really feel like an important Sancerre for the mineral, but for its weight and richness it could be a Burgundy.
Vineyard is in Velletri over the hills of Rome influenced by the a sea breeze coming from west.
Very long and surely at peak
I'd imagine some bottles might be past the peak too, but this one was holding superbly.
I am very curious to try the other labels Stefano had from Piana dei Castelli. It made my day — 9 days ago
