We drank the La Legende de Saint-Martin Sancerre Cuvée Prestige 2019, which is Vinifie et mis en bouteille par S.C.E.V. Fleuriet. Nose of fern and citrus rind, nice crisp acidity on the palate, some herbal notes continuing and some white peach and citrus notes, with a strong underlying slate or crushed gravel. — 3 years ago
Starts out with a thick smooth texture and you expect it to be sweet but it is not at all. It’s ends so smooth. Nose is a lovely floral. So very unique and delicious — 5 years ago
1978, vieux très grand vin de 1978, 39 ans. Encore beaucoup de tenue, puissance, nez de cuir et vieux livres, équilibré en bouche, un grand plaisir de boire ce vin de légende. — 7 years ago

At its best, I’ve always found Grenache has the ability to achieve an elegance and purity matched by few other Mediterranean grapes. This Maury Sec accomplishes just that - a wine with a cooling berry flavor of length and transparency. Heady, with subtle blue notes and a piney, fresh garden herbaceousness - it captivates with its tranquil breadth and high-toned finish. 80% Grenache, 20% Carignan. — 7 years ago

This very dark wine gives off a nose of plums and blackberries, with a savory edge of leather and tar, or forest floor. The palate offers an exquisite example of Bordeaux - smooth and savory at the five-year mark. The tannins are fine and sweet, but are able to help out with a pot roast, beef stew or pork dish. — 3 years ago
