La Sauvageonne

Gérard Bertrand

Château la Sauvageonne Grand Vin Blanc 2021

Clear, medium ruby; clean with a medium aroma intensity; primary and secondary aromas on the nose: cherries, dried herbs, and leather; dry; high acidity; medium tannins; medium alcohol; medium flavor intensity; primary and secondary flavors of raspberries, blackberries, baking spices, and fresh asphalt; and a long finish. This wine is complex, with good intensity and a long finish. I'll take some points off for it being a little off balance. Overall, I would rate this wine as very good. — 8 days ago

Château La Sauvageonne

Rosé Blend 2014

Pale orange color, light bodied and good acidity. Apricot and citrus notes with nice minerality leading to a crisp finish. Delicious rose. More multidimensional than most roses. — 8 years ago

La Sauvageonne Coteau du Langeudoc Grenache Syrah Cinsault 2013

Once it opens up (which takes a bit) it has delicate florals with a bit of mineral on the nose. The palate is pleasant with great depth and length given the price piont. — 7 years ago
