Autumny wet leaves, anise after it opened up. Tannins are strong. Seems like there are different flavours every sip. Really great — 7 years ago
2011, Lazzeretti Marco, Brunello di Montalcino - purchased at the winery from the winemaker. Enjoyed at Whidbey BnB in 2019 to celebrate 13th anniversary. Nose: dried red fruit, pencil shavings, tobacco; Taste: black pepper, bell pepper, slightly mousy, chocolate, tannic, very dry mouthfeel. Incredible aftertaste. Our favorite! — 6 years ago

Nice Brunello. Striking but smooth tannins. Great red fruit flavor with nice herbal aromas. At 15% abv, no heat evident. — 8 years ago
