Dusty and floral, the 2021 Uve Bianche Versant Nord lifts with a savory blend of dried flowers, peaches complicated and wet stone. It's round and soothing with ripe orchard fruits and tactile mineral tones. This finishes clean with a peppery-herbal tinge. Metodo Classico Nebbiolo is always a fantastic idea. Subtle, elegant, mineral, underripe wild strawberries, raspberries & cranberries with a hint of caramelized brioche and grapefruit pith on the finish. Uncovered this unexpected treasure in search of a good bottle at my sister’s house in Pittsburgh.
