We used to go wine tasting years back with a level 2 Somm who used to describe a highly complex, deeply pungent, earthy wine as Nasty! This was one of the biggest compliments that he would give a wine as he smiled and took another sip. To me, this is that wine - Wow. Bold, bold Temp/Barbera blend. Deep, dark fruit, licorice, sulfur, blueberries and tons of earth that make this nasty in the best sense of the word! — 5 years ago

Dark decadent juice to the eye. Hints of tobacco, coffee and juicy blueberry. Hefty tannins and cranberry acidity upon first opening. And after aeration.... full vibrant fruit is highlighted when paired with spicy Chile relleno. Delish! Very complementary. — 5 years ago
Nose: Funky barnyard, raspberry haystacks, chocolate covered raspberries, dark chocolate orange sticks. palate is juicy and cocoa powdered red fruits. Plums, orange candy, raspberries. Raisins, a bit heavy on the jam. Heavy alcohol. Under the Christmas tree wine. — 5 years ago
Crisp Peary sparkling wine. Love the refreshing taste. It's great for hangovers. ;) — 8 years ago
Cali sunripened berries soften the tartness of Sangio and bake this wine with ripe cherry warmth. Not over the top, but approachable fir the new world palate. A great California take on an Italian classic. Paired perfectly with my pink sauce asparagus over penne with Beyond crumbles. — 5 years ago

Probably the best Muscat I've ever tasted. Not too sweet. Almost like a Riesling in character and sweetness. Honeysuckle, apricot, pear, sweet cream. Smooth mildly dry finish. Magda once again made the tasting experience wonderful on this warm and breezy Saturday afternoon. 🍷 — 8 years ago
