Totally on point - sense of place and style! r Rarely does Lizzy use only two varietals. This worked really well - medium weight with loads of vibe to make a mid week meal special! — 7 years ago
This may be the first or second of Lizzy's wines that I can drink early. Most are too powerful to be opened now – and/or laying down for years. But this was made with good ripe Merlot as its 45% base. Totally balance and quite tasty. Can Sauv 30% and PV at 25% offer tannins and body. Glad I have more ;) — 9 years ago
Wow!! The Franc holding tight after 11+ years. 75% cf, 15 cs & 10 PV… Monticello, AVA — 2 years ago
In this 2017 label release, we find Lizzy’s base blend in a 4 bottle vintage. This one uses no Cab Sauv...so Merlot’s dance partners are 30 PV and 5 CF to add texture/verve to the 60% sweet cherry base. — 6 years ago
this vintage is a return to the norm. I think the hallmark of this Petit Verdot focused wine is that it is strikingly linear with a medium weight. It seems on characteristic of the components to be so tempered. 60 PV 30 cf 10 cs — 7 years ago
After an extended aging time, this fella points at the clean-quality of the estate fruit just north of Whitehall. A little more rounded and denser than a non-reserve offering. This is one to hold for several years before bottle #2 is opened. 3 x 1/3 build — 8 years ago
HUGE! Bombastically grapey. This will age for decades in amazing ways. One of the finest wines to come from the eastern seaboard. — 13 years ago
Solid execution of the not so often dance partners Cab Sauv & PV (at 72 and 23 %s respectively). 8 years of integration has proven profitable! Plenty of energy left yet nice resolution of oak and tannin. Not a heavy lifter, this was solid for medium weight weeknight plates. — 5 years ago

This 2013 vintage blend featuring 50% CF, 30% merlot, and 20% PV Had spent five years finding its groove...and it had great moves! That first phase of aging nearing completion, this fruit and acid where working harmoniously to be both rounded yet deep. Well done :) — 7 years ago
I think the 2013 vintage is starting to show some promise… This 50% Merlot blend with cab Franc at 30% was really enjoyable – especially as it had a chance to unwind in the glass. Cab Sauv at 15% and PV at five… It’s really about the flavor profiles playing well together with not fair… The oak treatments tend to be about the same. This seems like a nice 5 Wood – good height and decent distance from a smooth swing :) — 8 years ago
