This was an interesting and refreshing white to start the night off. It had the crispness of Sauvignon blanc and some honey and citrus which (I think) can from the muscadelle. — 5 years ago

Rich and hearty. Lovely and intense nose. Smooth start to finish. Not a big fruit load up front, but the tannins come in middle and late. Nutmeg and cinnamon with a touch of cocoa. Nice effort. — 7 years ago

Visited the winery in person while in CA for business and got a chance to meet some of the Nichelini family descendants in person. Very nice and pleasant people! The winery is a smaller one just on the outskirts of Napa in the mountains. The visit makes for a pleasant scenic drive. The Cab was one of the best that they were sampling on the day I visited. There are earthy, floral hints and a bold flavor. — 9 years ago
