The Martin family (owners) are wonderful and this wine is a great easy drinking white. — 10 years ago
Quickly becoming my favorite white. Unfortunately they are running out fast. Not really sweet but I love the orange essence this wine has. — 11 years ago
Was almost sure that this one was done. However, after opening the cork and getting a whiff of this one, I became pretty excited. This one pours a maroon color into the glass. Nose of sweet plum and blackberry. Entry is sweet plums and dates. A small amount of tart underripe blackberry but this was not the primary note. Middle is rather full bodied, and was surprisingly complex. A little bit of pipe tobacco, a little bit of sweet milk chocolate. Finished with reasonable acidity, even a little bit of sweet toasted tannin. one of the handful of Texas reds that I would buy again in a heartbeat. — 6 years ago
2013 vintage. Great stuff! — 10 years ago
Full bodied and robust. Nose Bursting with cherry and Carmel, well integrated tannins compliment the slightly over ripened flavor from Texas terroir. Chocolate mousse on the finish. Rich rich rich... And very potent at 15.1% abv. — 12 years ago
