2015 Sami-Odi Mahe & Ribo Syrah. I’ll sum it up in one sentence. This wine rivals the SQN Piranha Waterdance I tasted last night. I believe that the Fraser McKinley train has officially departed from the station. My condolences to all left standing on the platform. I’m on the same train thanks to you! Wish there was a way to try these ‘15s and hope the ‘16s are a fraction as good. @Roman Sukley how long did you decant the Piranha? Worth trying one now?
@Norman Gennaro 4 hour decant on the Piranha and it needs it. I’ll probably hold the balance of mine for a while.

Fronsac Red Bordeaux Blend 2011
A kind of spiced chocolate aroma mixed with a mild somewhat developed structure dressed with initial plum-cherry to taste developing to a very strong plum aftertaste. Quite nice. Should've paired it with the piranha I grilled two days ago instead of the London Pride beer! — 10 years ago

Wow. Immediately sharp and powerful from the first pour. Sizzling and spicy with lots of length. Earthy and rich. Such a lingering joy! My only problem was an over whelming feeling of slowing myself to make it last. Phenomenal!! — 3 months ago
