So this probably isn’t “exquisite” because the flavor is so simple and crisp … but that’s what I love about it. — 5 years ago

This vintage was fantastic. Nicely balanced. Right amount of pepper. Very much an underrated winery. — 7 years ago

Morello cherries, green & black peppercorns, haystack, game, marjoram, dried thyme, mint. Rounded acidity/minimal smooth velvet tannins, medium bodied, satin texture, herbal-gamy finish. Quirky with prominent herbal notes; some reduction that pairs well with venison, red meats, funky cheeses. Do not expect a polished-elegant Pinot Noir. — 8 years ago

Tried in Van. Nice and easy drinking. Enjoyed. Even Rich liked — 9 months ago
The 2021 Pelaverga Verduno is classy and elegant to the core. Crushed red berry fruit, sweet floral notes and a kick of citrus are all laced together. Burlotto's silky, polished Pelaverga is about as good as it gets for this quirky variety. Aging in steel helped preserve quite a bit of freshness. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2022)

Brilliant, fascinating nose. Almost devoid of fruit, yet so enticing!
Dried rosemary, lavender, fennel, floral. Some dark, creamy black fruit, baked earth, some leather. And continues to evolve in the Glas. Precise, fresh, beautiful!!
On the palate - fresh, polished yet with such depth & character. The quality of the tannins is mind blowing. So polished, so fine yet monumental at the same time. And in this frame - juicy, fresh, floral acidity and just a touch of black fruit. Brilliant, quirky, bordering on profound, and so delicious at the same time. What a wine!!! — 3 years ago

Cracking good Adelaide Hills pinot. So different from most. Plush and broad with subtly spiced plum and cherry. Right time to drink - one more bottle left and won’t be keeping it a lot longer. — 8 years ago
