— 5 years ago
The 2018 Organic is 51% Sauvignon Blanc and 49% Sémillon.
The nose reveals; lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, white peach, underripe green melon, green apple skin, touch of cream & vanilla, honeysuckle, soft chalky powder, light presence of volcanic minerals, yellow and spring flowers.
The body is thick and waxy. Lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, white peach, underripe green melon, green apple skin, touch of cream & vanilla, honeysuckle, soft chalky powder, the presence of volcanic minerals deepens on the palate as it sets, yellow and spring flowers. It’s mostly a soft, delicate wine with the exception of the minerality but, it’s not too much. The acidity is splendid and the finish is soft, elegant and gently polished.

Delightful balance and length. Citrus pith and stone fruit nose carries over to the palate, joined by mellow oak, floral notes. Medium body. Finishes medium to long, mild acidity giving way to minerals. — 4 years ago
The nose reveals beautiful, ripe dark berry mix. The fruits are creamy and candied. Dark currants, blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum, blue & purple fruit mix, dark chocolate, mocha bar, caramel, black licorice, asian spices, leather, tobacco, some nice oak notes, saline, alluvial soils, dry crushed rocks with fresh & withering dark floral bouquet.
The body is medium full with strong, dry, powdery tannins. Ripe dark berry mix. The fruits are creamy and candied on the palate as well. Dark currants, blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, black plum, blue & purple fruit mix, dark chocolate, mocha bar, caramel, black licorice, asian spices, clove, tough leather, dry tobacco, some nice oak wood plank, saline, heavy presence of alluvial soils, dry crushed rocks with fresh & withering dark floral bouquet. The acidity is excellent. The finish is nice but, again, will take 5-7 years to flush out, soften and integrate. 91 with potential for more down the road.

Label does not refer to it being biodynamic. Nevertheless, it has everything I like in a chenin blanc and drinking beautifully in 2023. $25 — a year ago
@Delectable This is 2017 Cabernet Merlot Organic Blend.
The 50-50 Cabernet & Merlot.
The nose is light, lively, fresh with bright, ripe fruits. Blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, black plum, black raspberries, strawberries on the glass edges, dark chocolate, mocha, caramel, vanilla, light dark spice, dry crushed rocks, limestone minerals, dark turned earth, tobacco, touch up of graphite with fresh, dark red/blue florals.
The body is medium for these varietals. The tannins, dark, tarry, sticky and chewy. The fruits are ripe, fresh and juicy. Blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, black plum, black raspberries, strawberries, cherries, dark chocolate, mocha, caramel, vanilla, light dark spice, dry crushed rocks, limestone minerals, dark turned earth, tobacco, touch up of graphite with fresh dark red/blue florals. For it being so young, it has nice; structure, tension, length and balance. The acidity is spot on. The finish is fruity and on the long set shows a lot of dark spice. Hold 7-8 years before opening.
