Sciandri PNV Cabernet 2013 Mescolanza! This cab is RIDICULOUS. Poured a dark maroon into the glass. Nose of herbs (more like a sage), black pepper, blackberry, grilled meat, and grape bubblegum. The entry is fruit forward, but only a bit. Purple and black fruits, oregano, lavender. The middle of the wine is quite silky. Hint of cola. The wine finishes a little acidic. Although the tannin are rather soft and showed some integration after decanting for 3 hours, the wine is still youthful and will certainly improve over the next 10-15 years. This is a locked up MONSTER of a wine. Glad I have two more of these. — 7 years ago
Aged 20 months in 80% new French oak, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Sciandri Family Vineyard in Coombsville, deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, herbs and oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry and ripe raspberry with herbs, toasty oak and cacao. Firm tannins, long finish ending with fruit, toasty oak and mineral character. Very nice, needs more time. Awesome. Tasted like Sciandri Coombsville Cuvée. Was better the next day. — 3 years ago
A good example of Napa Cab, big with good structure, maybe a touch too ripe though. — 7 years ago

My preferred #napavalley #cabernetsauvignon - big yet balanced, blackberry, fine tannins that build and some black pepper spice on the finish. #coombsville — 5 months ago
