Dark, sinister nose of smoke, grilled meat, grilled herbs, toast, bushfire... Luckily on the palate it's suave and shows sweet macerated fruit, black pepper, dried sausages, cough syrup and some notes of cola, licorice and chocolate, too. Cool acidic frame leaves a clean and fresh impression. Very interesting wine from this relatively cool region. Like. — 9 years ago

A little rosé study with clients before I left. All fruit from Shelmerdine's Heathcote site. 15' made by de Bort. Barrel fermented goodness here. A more savoury rosé.
